Why soft wash, not pressure
Pressure washing strips granules off shingles, drives water under tiles, and voids manufacturer warranties. Soft washing uses low PSI (under 100) and biodegradable sodium-hypochlorite-based detergents to lift growth safely — the method approved by the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA).
